Mustangs win regional

It was a special day for Northside College Prep's girls cross country team as the Mustangs won their first ever regional title by placing first in the Mather Regional at Legion Park on Saturday.

Northside easily won first place with 49 point ahead of runner-up Resurrection (74 points). Madison Weatherly led the way for the Mustangs, taking second place in the three-mile course with a time of 19:54.18. click here to continue reading

Northside College Prep showed absolutely no fear competing with some of the best runners in the state of Illinois on Saturday as they took sixth place in the ultra-competitive Libertyville Invite at Adler Park.
